1. Vehicle rental

Who can rent a car and what documents are needed?

-Any natural person, entrepreneur or legal entity can rent a vehicle from Pro-RentCar. The minimum age for renting a car is 19 years, or it is necessary to hold a driving licence for at least 1 year.

2. Acceptance and handover of the vehicle

-You can pick up the vehicle at the branch or we will deliver it to your address. We will check the condition of the vehicle and sign the documents before taking it over.

-A detailed inspection of the vehicle takes place upon handover. If the vehicle is in the same condition, we will quickly conclude the process. We also offer the option of returning the vehicle at the branch or at an agreed location to make the whole process convenient and hassle-free.

3. Minimum age and driving licence

-The minimum age for renting a car is 19 years and you must have held a driving licence for at least 1 year. For some types of vehicles, especially premium or larger models, we may require a higher age or longer driving experience.

4. Deposit and payment

-A deposit is required when renting a vehicle, which serves as a guarantee in case of damage or breach of terms. The amount of the deposit depends on the category of the vehicle.

-Payment for the rental or deposit can be made in cash or by credit card and paid before the rental starts (at the pick-up point or in advance on account after sending an invoice)

-Deposit paid by card will be blocked in your account, we will release it within 3 working days after the return of the vehicle. It's up to your bank to credit the deposit to your account, which can take up to 15 days depending on the bank's terms and conditions. Therefore, we recommend making a cash deposit for faster processing.

5. Length of lease

-We offer flexible rental options, from short-term (day, weekend) to long-term rentals for several months. The price of the rental depends on the period chosen, with longer rentals often allowing you to obtain more favourable pricing conditions.

6. Insurance and liability

-All our vehicles are insured according to the applicable laws. The rental includes compulsory insurance (PZP) and accident insurance to reduce liability for damage.

-In the event of an accident, the hirer is obliged to inform the police and the rental company immediately.

7. Use of the vehicle

-Vehicles from our rental company can be used in the territory of the Slovak Republic and abroad by agreement. However, it is necessary to observe all traffic regulations, rules and conditions of rental.

-It is forbidden to use the vehicle for illegal purposes, racing, difficult terrain or as a training vehicle.

8. Return of the vehicle

-The vehicle must be returned at the agreed date and time, at the place as agreed in the contract, in the same condition as when it was rented (except for normal wear and tear). In the event of late return, additional charges may apply.
